May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Where is God? Didn’t he promise me peace, joy, hope, and a life of abundance? And yet life is hard. I’m surrounded by darkness…and pain…and suffering…so much suffering.
I know these are questions some Christians ask. I AM NOT one of those Christians. Yes, I am surrounded by darkness, pain, and suffering just as many others are BUT… each day (or at least most days) God keeps his promises of peace, joy, hope, and strength not just to survive but to thrive, no matter how difficult life gets.
So what’s my secret?
It’s not a secret!
Any and all of God’s children have a God-given inheritance that includes hope, peace, joy, strength, and so much more to thrive in this world. My latest book, STEP INTO GOD’S POWER, shares the secrets I’ve learned during my life’s journey.
But no need to buy the book, this one verse tells an important truth. Read the verse again. Did you see it? May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. As you trust… Trust is key to having more of God in your life.
Instead of focusing on the difficult circumstances in your life, focus on God–his love; his power; and his promises. Trust God. Trust God’s Words. Trust God’s promises. And then you will know the answer to the question: Where is God?
He is with you–always!
