You either believe the Bible or you don’t!

Yesterday, I talked about choosing faith over fear. That’s easier said than done. I know that, but I believe it’s all about our focus. What are you focusing on right now during this worldwide pandemic.

Did I leave any out? If we continue to focus on the negative rather than God, they will only grow stronger and have even more devastating consequences in us and in our life. When we focus on our problems, it can become overwhelming–even impossible. But Jesus tells us that all things are possible with God –even peace and joy during this time of trouble.. God still has the power to work all things for our good. That’s hard to believe right now, but it’s a biblical truth.

You either believe the Bible or you don’t!

I thought I’d share some of the things I do to keep my focus on God–not my circumstances.

Spend time with God.

 James 4: 8

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Meditate on God’s Word.

Romans 12: 2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Praise and Worship and Thanksgiving

Psalm 69: 30

I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 77: 11-12

I will remember the deeds of the Lord;
yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
I will consider all your works
and meditate on all your mighty deeds.

I’m not saying your circumstances will change  if you do all these things, but if you continue to do them, you will change. You will begin to experience God’s peace and joy–in spite of your circumstances. Because you’re choosing FAITH OVER FEAR!

I pray that you’ll experience more of God’s peace  and joy and blessings in the coming year–but even better, that you will experience more of God! It may seem impossible right now, but it is VERY POSSIBLE. God doesn’t lie. You either believe the Bible or not!

I pray you will choose FAITH OVER FEAR!
