In peace, I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, makes me dwell in safety.

 

There is power in God’s Word.

Not long ago, I had to spend the night alone since my husband had surgery and was in the hospital. It was the first night I’ve spent alone since I lost most of my hearing. I really didn’t think I’d sleep much since I was worried about not hearing something I would need to hear. But I saw this Bible verse posted by someone else a few days before my husband’s surgery. I wrote it down and kept reading it to myself.  When the night came, I slept.
