Psalm 51:10 (ESV)

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

I pray this prayer often! It’s so harrrrrd in today’s world to keep our priorities straight. It’s so easy to get caught up in this materialistic, sensationalized, keeping-up-with-the-Kardashians mindset.

As a Christian writer, I want to write God’s message in an entertaining story that still gets the point across–His point–His message. As a writer, I want to write books that sell! So create in me a clean heart, O God.
