I thought I’d share a few thoughts on my birthday

I hope you receive it in the spirit that it’s given.

In this life, we all have troubles.

But God is still on the throne–no matter what.

Today is my birthday!

I’m 68.

I have brain tumors and a genetic disease called Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2).

I can’t hear as good as I’d like.

I weeble and wobble when I walk.

I weigh more than I want to.

I have more aches and pains than I used to.

I’m slower than I used to be and I wasn’t all that fast to begin with.

But… God is with me always.

He is my God and Savior.

He is my protector and provider.

He is my healer.

But… God is with me always.

He gives me peace and joy.

He gives me rest.

He blesses in more ways than I have time to tell.

But… God is with me always.

He is faithful always.

He is loving always.

He is good always.

Thank you, God for this thing called life.

May I bring honor and glory to you in all that I do.
