Bible Power Tip # 17–Seeking the Kingdom

Romans 14: 17

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

This verse tells us that the Kingdom of God isn’t about our circumstances but it’s about righteousness, peace, and joy, which we get through the Holy Spirit.

It seems to me we’ve become so focused on the comforts of the world that we’ve forgotten what the Kingdom really is. It’s fine to ask for healing, for financial stability, and for all the other things we want. The Bible even tells us we have not because we ask not so it’s fine to ask, but if we don’t get them that doesn’t mean God has abandoned us.

Because the Kingdom of God is about righteousness, peace, and joy!
